When you're spending this kind of money on a phone, and something you use this much everyday... It is my opinion that you go for the best you can get. I chose Apple because in my business work, Airdrop is a must-have. Gone are the days where you have to go through the time-consuming and laborious process of sending yourself images through e-mail. With Airdrop, you just select, and transfer, just like that. And it's a surprisingly quick transfer too. Also important is my businesses is good quality video which I have noticed this 3-camera system has also been surprising at delivering. Last but not least I strongly suggest (for one who relied heavily on their tech) on getting the largest hard-drive size you can possibly afford. It is so aggravating to have to... what has felt like constantly to this reviewer... transfer your photos to a desktop to have usable space on your phone.
I want to have the bulk of the media I'm using right there where I can work from it - not have to go find it on my computer and transfer it back once I'm ready to use it on that device. Less steps, more immediate is what my ADHD brain prefers. So take it from this reviewer who struggled for years with the bane of small hard-drives... don't do that to yourself.

2. Apple iPad
What I love about iPad. My first iPad was an iPad 2. Something difficult, or two, were happening in my life, and I needed a little "pick me up." I was in Pre-Med so I also rationalized it as, "I could use it for school." You could not have communicated to me and me have believed what a difference this made in my everyday life. I used it constantly. So much it was belaboring to think about how I'd lived prior to having it. I started every morning while still waking up in bed (I don't jump out of bed in the mornings, that grates my soul, I wake up slowly and gently - properly, to me.), so every morning I used it to update myself on social media updates, look-up things I needed to for school, or life demands, then I got up to start my day and took it everywhere I went with me. Then, I would end my day the same way - with everything I was dependent on at my fingertips with a luxurious large, usable screen (no lagging as was the case with previous attempts at large low responsive touchscreens). My Aunt called a few months after I got my iPad and shared she was thinking about getting one, what did I think? I don't think I had ever previously suggested something so emphatically and easily before. (more info below description)

Continued from above: I still have that iPad, and it still works. My second (and current iPad was the iPad Pro 12.9" 2020. I got it mainly because I wanted to do a Youtube Comparison video for it, like the one here: Chelsea on Youtube's iPad Comparrison. But fell in love, and was highly impressed going from Apple Products like The iPhone 3Gs, iPhone4 (loved the camera it just seemed to not be as fast as my 3Gs), And then finally the iPhone 6 I had multiples of (lived the shape and how THIN it was! But then, both mine and my significant other's iPhone 6's did the exact same thing. Became somehow so full, yet had nothing much on them, nearly every app and photos were deleted because the phone kept running out of space, and then eventually it just turned itself off never to come on again. So, this was how up-to-date my apple knowledge was when my 2020 iPad Pro 12.9" tablet came in, and so I was very impressed by the upgrades in the smooth-ness of the UI (user interface/system) and also by the quality of materials used. A big deciding factor of why I chose the iPad Pro 12.9" was the speakers. The speakers were far above and beyond those on the Air, and I've been saying since high school, "My love is Music." I have a BOSE stereo system in my vehicle. And if you read this website, know I was in love with the BOSE QuietComfort 35 II. I love music, and bad sound quality irks me. These are so handy, useful and enjoyable to use that when I couldn't find the first one I bought, I ordered a second immediately as I could not take the gamble of how long it would take for it to show up. I used it that much and enjoyed using it to that degree: Instantly shell out $100+ because it was that much of an essential.
If you care about having it personalized, when you buy an Apple Pencil directly from Apple, they will engrave it for free. Giving you that exact, but now upgraded nostalgic memory of childhood when you had pencils with your name on them.
I almost ordered a third at one time when I couldn't find the first two but had to talk myself down as three Apple Pencils for a person who's not an Arabic Sheik seemed excessive. But I almost did! That's how serious I have been about the Apple Pencil.
Bose QuietComfort 35 II (QC35 II)
Called a Cult Classic.
Soft cushion earcup “so it won’t even feel like you’re wearing headphones” says the BOSE website’s product page.
I can support the spirit of that assertion as they were amazingly comfortable – so comfortable I slept in them. As someone who has ADHD I noticed incidentally while wearing ear-plugs so I wouldn’t be woken up in the morning by noises from people who were up and at ‘em early… that having earplugs in, the reduction of sensory input helped to still my mind. Upon purchasing these headphones intending to do a YouTube product review with them compared to the Beats by Dr. Dre… I loved these headphones so much there was no question I was keeping them. When I was having difficulty sleeping I would listen to Hans Christian Anderson’s children stories and classical music and then would sometimes leave them on to block out noise from others and seemed be able to drift off to sleep easier. I noticed, again, reduction in auditory stimuli really seemed to help put my brain in a state for sleep more quickly than without the headphones (even when they were turned off - the innate reduction in noise just from the psyical design).
The metal material bridge top and Alcantara cushion, paired with the soft leather ‘soft cushion’ over-the-ear earcups make comfortable and enjoyable for long-time wear.
Noise-canceling. And both in materials and sound quality, are more reflective of the sound and design quality we became used to with BOSE first outstanding products. These are my pick over the next iteration of Quietcomfort headphones as the next model, the QuietComfort 45 or QC 45 came around the time after the Coronavirus pandemic where “shrinkflation” took its toll on many products. The Youtube video comparison by youtuber GYMCADDY available at YouTube video link showed me this when he's talking about the qulaity feeling of the leatherette earcups. That if I were to replace my BOSE QuietComfort 35 II headphones, I would look for another pair of QC 35 II's, instead of “upgrading” to the newer isn't necessarily better QC 45. And if one were to upgrade, according to that reviewer perhaps consider going to the BOSE NC700 for more EQ sound customization ability.

A touchscreen laptop. ANY touchscreen laptop. I have my suggestions on brand and I guess we'll delve into those reasons here. Growing up I've had a variety of laptops. My first, was an IBM ThinkPad gifted to me by my generous and awesome Aunt Sharon. My second, was an absolutely stellar and sweet laptop gifted to me as a parting gift and labor of/showing of love from my Father. It was his personal laptop; His sweet, top of the line, extremely special, beautiful exquisite soft silver HP with Harman-Kardon speakers. Dad was a tech savant. I mean nobody was as great with computers. And his computer was sweet. I still have it, and it works. And is still, twenty years later, sweet and unparalleled in ways I can't explain. Then, we enter my college years where this, her Dad taught her to build a computer at the age of 10, then, on her own because she loves and missed her Father, and the gifts he gave her, learned not one but two programming languages girl took guying computers into her own hands. My first, absolutely regrettable purchase was this gorgeous color Barbie pink Dell Inspiron. It lasted about as long as it took you to read that last sentence. Gorgeous color. Absolutely no staying power. Moving on, my next purchase was "going back to the basics" and quality, HP. I needed a base-camp, powerhouse desktop. It served me well and was outstandingly reliable until my Mother drug it across a wool rug, and didn't ground before plugging it in. My next computer, as an accessory to my powerhouse desktop, was a supposedly luxurious Sony VAIO. It was ramped up on RAM (so it would process faster) and had the new Intel i-whatever processors, it was white, looked like a storm-trooper... and had my first back-lit keyboard. Even upon getting it out of the box, something wasn't right. It would lag, and freeze. This was double the price of all normal laptops, but again, had issues going on out of the gate. But, I wouldn't have to worry about that for long as it was stolen by a family member pretty quickly. My amazing Uncle did not like this. "She's in college" he pleaded. Then, after an investigation, he came back to me and asserted that he would buy me a laptop. My Uncle struggled. I would be darned if he was going to suffer for something for me. I, when I could, went to the store and used all my knowledge to get both the best, and most economic laptop I could find. And boy did I. It came as a surprise. This snobby girl had snubbed her nose previously to acer. And lo- it would become her most trusted laptop. It was on clearance for $398, and was touchscreen (I didn't care, but BOY would I learn to.
Acer made it look easy. It was, usable (lean in to touch) and reliable. I never had any hiccups. That laptop was so important to me, my next, and so-far final laptop I chose a SSD analog of that unfindable computer.
It's been through hell, yet it's still chugging along.
My next one, I might try ASUS like Dad has proposed.
Touchscreen laptops are like something that you don't know are important until you do know how important they are and you can't, if you have a choice, go back.
So, as you can see I've gotten a feel for different Brands and their products. So this is my experience and my advice.
It's so handy to be able to lean in while working and touch the screen. I also noticed another benefit: that if the webpage I was on was freezing, often times I could still move the page, and navigate and operate using touch. I do appreciate being slowed down while working...
